I received this tea warmer yesterday and used it this morning. The tea light looks great glowing through the thick glass. The sides have openings so I first wondered if this warmer would keep the tea hot, but it does. This is not easily noticed from the picture but the top portions that support the pot are in the shape of hearts. Since I like things that look substantial, I appreciate the heavier glass compared to most fragile looking warmers. Heavy glass refracts light in an interesting way. This warmer makes a nice statement and looks very nice with the Northwest Glass English tea pot. I believe I've made a good decision on purchasing the glass warmer and pot!
